Our Story

Crown Lodge started in 2011 when the owner got tired of staying at generic beach resorts. He literally said 'I can do better than this.' So he found this stretch of coast, renovated an old colonial property, and opened the doors. No massive corporation. No focus groups. Just one guy who wanted to run a place he'd actually want to stay at. We've grown since then — added more rooms, upgraded the restaurant, expanded the spa. But we've stayed stubborn about the things that matter: personal service, sustainability, and not being a chain.
